The selection of weaponry is exactly what you'd expect for Worms and all the classics along with a few of their newer surprises have made it in to Armageddon and while some items are missing you can unlock old staples and a few new weapons for multiplayer by earning cash from the singleplayer missions.īut Worms isn't about blowing up AI opponents with their cheaty ability to judge their aim perfectly, no it's about causing as much mayhem and chaos with your friends and the addition of multiplayer allows you to pit your skills against 3 other friends locally or against a single other player online.
Touching each side of the screen will wiggle you in that direction, but jumping has remained difficult to master properly and requires tapping your worm to perform a forward jump or a back-flip. The controls haven't seen much in the way of changes, though for the most part the ability to aim and get around the level was never too hard. Finally! Worms 2: Armageddon Holy Grenades to shove in your face by Team17 has slipped on to the App Store and much of what made the original title irksome to enjoy has been fixed, leaving you with the juicy, classic worm on worm action you've come to expect of the franchise.
